VY Studios LLC is an independent studio registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. It builds mobile applications for iOS and Android, and exists to do a small number of things properly rather than a large number of them quickly.
The studio was formed to give a durable legal and operational home to independent software work: a registered company that can hold agreements, publish applications under its own name, employ contractors when a project needs them, and be held accountable for the products it puts into the world.
Being small is a choice rather than a stage we are trying to grow out of. A studio of this size can hold an entire product in its head — the design intent, the data model, the edge cases, the reason a decision was made eighteen months ago. That understanding is the main asset, and it does not survive being spread across too many projects at once.
Work runs in one continuous line rather than in parallel tracks. A product is designed, built, released, and then maintained by the same people, which means nobody inherits a codebase they do not understand and nobody ships a decision they cannot explain.
We publish through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and follow each platform's requirements for privacy disclosure, age rating, account deletion, and user reporting. Compliance work is treated as part of engineering rather than as paperwork bolted on at the end.

The company has a single owner, who is also its authorised representative for all agreements, filings, and platform accounts.
Founder & Managing Member. Holds full legal authority to enter into agreements on behalf of VY Studios LLC, and is the account holder for the studio's developer and distribution accounts. Responsible for design direction, engineering, and all correspondence with customers and platform providers.

Specialist work — illustration, localisation, security review, legal counsel — is contracted as individual projects require it. Contractors work under written agreement and do not hold access to production systems or customer data unless a specific engagement requires it, in which case access is scoped and time-limited.
